The Old Bar is a live rock n' roll music bar on Johnston St. Fitzroy which has been there since 2001. A lively venue with an appealing, comfortable interior decor, Old Bar features performances from rock, punk, experimental, country, post-punk and folk bands amongst others.

With its open and varied approach to musical styles, the Old Bar is a truly Fitzroy establishment in that sense, bursting with colourful, earthy creativity, unbounded by commerce or artifice.
