Hamer Hall is Melbourne's premier state concert hall in the Melbourne Arts Centre cultural hub on St. Kilda Rd. just across Princes Bridge from the city. Formerly known as the Melbourne Concert Hall, it is an understated but luxurious auditorium, seating 2,466 people.

Home to the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and its performance season, it has hosted a dazzling array of local and international classical music greats as well as contemporary musical acts, which it has placed a much greater emphasis on since the early 2000's.

Some of the notable artists that have performed there are Darren Hayes, Tori Amos, Cyndi Lauper, Jimmy Somerville, Rockwiz Easter specials, John Waters' John Lennon show, Sweet Honey In The Rock and The Goodies.
