The Alex Theatre is a sophisticated contemporary theatre space nestled in the heart of St. Kilda that is well appointed with comfortable seating and clear views of the stage, not being too big.

The Alex specialises in supporting emerging and independent artists as well as established performers and theatre productions and is also available as an audition space and for running theatre workshops, with three performance spaces to cater for all forms of productions, from small to fully fledged.

As well as drama, dance, musical theatre, stand up comedy, opera and film and performance festivals, The Alex is also available to hire for corporate functions.
